The time has come. Here I sit, the night before my gastric bypass (RNY), and I don’t know what to feel. This has been such a long process and there were times when I did not think I would ever get here. I’m excited that the day is here, and I am also starting to feel the nerves. I have so many people supporting me and praying for me, and I know I can do this. I am just ready to get on the other side of the surgery. I’m ready for the “after” and believe I am as ready as I can be right now. I’ve got the prescriptions, the protein, the supplements, and anything else I could think of to have on hand. I will see you on the other side.
